Awesome Technology

We are the front door to NASA Langley Research Center, an organization that has been producing world changing technology for over 100 years.  With a federal investment of over $700 thousand dollars and some of the smartest engineers on the planet they produce patented technology at an incredible clip. We are associated with the National Institute of Aerospace, the NIA collaborates with NASA, other government agencies and laboratories, universities, and industry to conduct leading-edge research and technology development in space exploration, aeronautics, and science. We also sit down the road from the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility.  Again, this unique $300 thousand-dollar national asset that does cutting edge physics research which spin off technologies that have clear connections to the medical and sensor industries.

Any new technology company needs to find investors that understand the risk posture of technology businesses. They require a little more time and patience than your quick turn software company. We have partnerships with several tech savvy investors who are looking for companies that will change the world with their technological solutions.

Current Leadership: Dr. Richard Antcliff, Interim Director

Dr. Richard Antcliff is serving as our Interim Director. Rich served as a senior executive at NASA, most recently at NASA HQ mentoring new senior level managers, helping them develop forward strategies and dealing with sticky situations. He served as the lead for NASA’s Regional Economic Development Program, reaching out to a wide variety of partners to encourage economic development with NASA technologies expertise and Dr. Antcliff began his career as a research physicist developing laser spectroscopic measurement techniques. He has served in a variety of roles during his tenure at NASA including the Head of Measurement Science and Technology Branch, Acting Director of the Aerospace Vehicle Systems Technology Office. He created and led Langley’s Innovation Institute, served as the center’s Chief Technologist and Chief Strategist. He holds a doctorate degree in Physical Chemistry from the University of Georgia and is a graduate of the Harvard Senior Executive Fellows and the Excellence in Government Fellows Programs. Dr. Antcliff was also detailed to Walt Disney Imagineering in an executive position. He has authored or co-authored more than 50 technical papers. 

He and his wife, Joanne, live in Smithfield, Virginia.  They have four children, eight grandchildren and 100,000 honeybees.
